My Life at Ch/ Carmel Girls’ Central College🙇🏻‍♀️✨

Hi everyone! 🙌🏻


School life is one of the most precious journeys in anyone’s life. I am truly proud to say that my journey at Ch/ Carmel Girls’ Central College has been unforgettable. I am proud to be a “Carmelian”, and my school has shaped me into who I am today.



From my junior years to my senior years, I was deeply involved in many activities. One of the most special parts of my life was being a member of the dancing team. I performed all kinds of dances and proudly played the main drum of Kandyan dance, “geta bera,” representing my school in many All Island dancing competitions. Those moments on stage brought me confidence, discipline, and so much joy.



Apart from dancing, I was also part of the school choir, where I shared my love for hymns and Jesus. I also participated in the Eastern Band, which was another wonderful experience in my school journey. I was honored to serve my school as a prefect and as the Deputy Minister of Physical Resources and Disaster Management Ministry, which helped me develop leadership and responsibility.



Sports were also a big part of my school life. I actively participated in netball, cricket, volleyball and throwball, especially during sports meets. Being a class monitor and wise monitor also taught me how to guide and support my classmates.



Throughout my school life, I always tried my best to give my fullest dedication and make my school proud. And finally, I was selected to university, bringing pride and honor to my beloved school. That moment was one of the happiest achievements in my life, not only for me but also for my school.



My school is not just a place of education, it is a place where I found my talents, built my character, and created lifelong memories. I will always be proud to call myself a Carmelian. 💫
