More than a teacher, the soul of my journey🥹❤️

Hi everyone! 🙌🏻

In life, we meet many teachers, but only a few stay in our hearts forever. My dancing teacher, Janaki Kumari, is one of those rare and precious people. She is not just a teacher to us. She is truly our second mom.

From the very beginning, she has been with us not only as a teacher but also as a friend. She laughs with us, understands us, and supports us in every moment. Her love and care make us feel safe, strong, and confident, just like a real family.

During my A/L days, I went to school mainly because of her. Every morning, we would go early to the dancing room just to see her face. That small moment gave us so much happiness and energy for the whole day. That is the beautiful bond we share with her, something very rare and special.

She always shares everything she has with us. Even when it comes to food, she never thinks about herself first. She gives to us before she eats, making sure we are happy and satisfied. We sit together and eat as one family, laughing and sharing moments. That is the pure love she gives us, a love full of care, sacrifice, and kindness.

Our bond is so special that not everyone understands it. We faced many blames and misunderstandings from others because of how close we are. But that never changed anything, because what we share with her is pure and true. Not everyone can receive that kind of love, and that is what makes it even more special.

She has taken us to many all-island competitions, always guiding and encouraging us to give our best. One of the most unforgettable moments in our journey was when we won 3rd place at an all-island competition. That victory was not just ours. It was hers too, because of her dedication, hard work, and belief in us.

Her inspiration helped me achieve my university dream. With her guidance and support, I found the courage to believe in myself and move forward in life. She didn’t just teach me how to dance, she taught me how to chase my dreams.

One of the most beautiful traditions we have is celebrating her birthdays. Every year, we surprise her and fill her day with love. Seeing her smile with tears of happiness is a moment we will always treasure.

She is the light that shines in our lives, the strength behind our confidence, and the love behind our passion. I am truly blessed to have my Janaki teacher in my life, not only as my teacher, but as my guide, my support, and my forever second mom. 🥺❤️
